Grounded Coffee Review
Grounded Coffee is located on County Line Road in Madison. This is a great option for those living in Madison, but given the drive, it would be even better if they also opened a location closer to or even in Huntsville.
The server I interacted with took the time to help me with my order. He was patient and offered a few suggestions without being overwhelming. He also recommended the blueberry muffin, for which I am eternally grateful.
The blueberry muffin had a crusty outer layer with a coffee cake-like center. It was dense enough to fill me up while also just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and just like the muffin, it had the perfect amount of sweet to combat the richness of the coffee. The depth of flavor released from the coffee beans during brewing was evident in the toasty taste that lingered in my mouth. After speaking with the owner, I found out that while Grounded Coffee does not roast their own beans, they have freshly roasted beans delivered twice a week to ensure a high-quality product. The caramel flavoring was not my favorite as it was store-bought instead of homemade, but that is just my personal preference.
